Once you have clicked "Contacts", you should see something similar to the window below:

Much like with email, you can select contacts by checking the box next to the contacts you wish. To mark all, simply hit the box at the checkmark column. At the bottom there is a Delete button that will delete those contacts that you have checked.

To create a new contact, you can do one of two things:

  1. Take an address from an email you have received
  2. Create a contact from scratch
Take address!

To take an address from an email you have received, simply open an email you have received from someone and click on the "Take Address" button. This will take the sender's address and create a new contact for you. From there, you can open that contact and edit it as you see fit (adding info, etc).

To create a contact from scratch, click the New Contact button. You will then be presented with a page where you can enter information about a contact. Be sure to fill out:

You can also create a group that contains many email addresses. If you click the "Add Group" button in the contact list (next to the "Add Contact" button), you will be able to create a group:
  1. File As: The name that you want to file the group under.
  2. Members: People you already have added to the group (it starts out blank). To remove any members, click on them and hit "Delete".
  3. E-mail: You may enter an email address here to be added to the group. Hit "Add Contact" to add this email address to the group. If you have someone in your Address Book, click the Address Book button to add them. You will see the address move up to the "Members" area.
  4. Note: Any notes you wish to add about the group for your own information.
  5. When finished, click the green checkmark at the top of the window. If you wish to make another, click the green checkmark with a plus next to it to save this group and open a new one.
